YINY is a Malaysian singer-songwriter who started learning the electone as her first music instrument and then earned her Trinity Advanced Certificate for piano by the age of 21. At 16, she picked up songwriting while self-learning the guitar, marking the beginning of her passion for creating original music.  

After completing her business diploma, YINY decided to pursue her passion for music by enrolling in a contemporary music degree program. There, she met a group of like-minded music lovers and began organizing concerts and performances. Her breakthrough moment came when she opened for a local artist, marking the beginning of her journey as a performer of original music.  

Inspired by her personal experiences and the unwavering support of her loved ones, YINY creates music that reflects life, hoping to heal and connect with others through her songs.
