Duration & Timespan
Your itinerary planner has to understand these terms before allocating the event agendas:
Event Timespan – the duration counting from the start of an event to the end of it
Set Duration – the duration taken for the live band's set performance

The overtime (OT) charges are based on the terms and conditions (T&C) of the event type:

Outstation / Traveling
Depending on some cases, accomodation for the live band may be required for a night (sometimes two nights); do check with us on our booking schedule first, then only we can provide the quotation for the oustation fees.
If you would prefer to book the travel & accomodation bookings for the performers by yourself, you may do so.
Nevertheless, there are also swapping fee, travelling bonus and the difference in PA system costings in which we have to also factor in.

Penang-based's Outstation Fees
Outdoor / Unshaded
Depending on the event venue, some performance stages are unshaded, which therefore resulting in a rather tricky placement of the equipment on stage – in case it rained. And if so, an extra individual will also have to be hired to be standing by for it, so to make sure in any occurence of rain, he can swiftly help out the situation – shifting all the equipment & setups.
This unshaded situation of the performance stage will be chargeable at RM150 (to be confirmed).
If and only if a relocation of the stage setup and PA system equipment were to happen, an additional RM150 per (3m x 5m) stage size per crew will be charged for this work of inconvenience. Also, there has to be a backup plan on the relocation of the stage in case it rained.
Festive Days
As good performers are limited (the ratio of performers to a city's population is huge), the demand on special celebratory days are higher than the normal days. In other words, only with a proper amount agreed by both parties (employer & employee) shall this booking takes place because good performers are in demand on festive days. Hence, an implementation of special-day extra fees are made as such:
Public Holidays (PH) / Christmas Day / New Year's Day:
+ RM200 per performer
Eves of a Public Holiday:
+ (RM100 per setup crews, usually 3 to 4 persons) + (RM200 per performer)
Christmas Eve / New Year's Eve:
+ (RM100 per setup crews, usually 3 to 4 persons) + (RM400 per performer)
The rates above may vary, but generally the amount above is practiced. Also, as we are a company comprises majority in Chinese ethnicity, we do not operate on Chinese New Year's Day-1-2-and-3 and CNY's Eve.
Wireless Mics
Wireless mic(s) in our case is chargeable if you're having an emcee you hired separately unless s/he brings his own wireless microphone. Clients may also opt to have wireless mic(s) for their speeches if they prefer to give their speech at their seats or anywhere that is far from the podium (wired mic).
In some venues/hotels, there also wireless mics available for clients to borrow. However, by doing so, there is no certainty of the audio quality. For example, we have encountered the hotel's wireless mics to be having a low threshold of vocal input, where a higher intensity (louder) speech made by the emcee resulted in an overload (cracking) sound reproduction through the speakers. There is no certainty of a good quality mic from venues/hotels.
We advice our clients to avoid this by renting the wireless mics from us. The rental rate is ranged from RM80 to RM120 per wireless mic.
